Just breathe

I have been thinking about all of ya'll in the last few days. Several things have happened - some good, some bad, but with all of it, I thought of all the folks I met at NCCAT. Thanksgiving went well with all the in-laws at our house. Unfortunately my mother-in-law fell and fractured her hip and broke her elbow on the way home (Florida) Thursday night in Rock Hill, SC. Her daughter lives in Rock Hill so it's been easier on her and dad than if she had fallen somewhere they knew no one.

I worked the moonlight shift at Jockey only to find out at the end of the shift that one of my Jockey co-workers had died of an anuerysm (sp?) that morning. She was only 52. This made me think that it's only a blink of an eye that life changes. Her viewing and funeral is tomorrow afternoon. My heart aches for her family.

I worked 23 hours at Jockey this weekend, but my last day was Sunday. It was hard to leave because I loved the job, but it was time to go. My husband and I will be going to Rock Hill to help with his mom and dad. Not what I planned to do with my free time, but isn't the timing wonderful?!? Especially because I am now free to help!

Thanks for reading. I haven't been able to express how I feel since all has come to light. I hope all is well with everyone and I would definitely appreciate any prayers or good thoughts through this time. Merry Christmas!!!

NCCAT

It was a pleasure meeting all of you.  I look forward to staying in touch and learning more about each of you!  I am very proud to say that I have started the past few mornings with Coventry's stretching/Tai Chi.  I  hope all is well with you!
